Tubac Olive Oil and Balsamic Gift Set Giveaway
Happy New Years! I hope you all had fun ringing in 2012. Last year was very special year for me and I was a bit sad to see it end, though I’m incredibly excited to see what new adventures lie ahead. In 2011 I got married, moved forward with my culinary career and took some very memorable vacations.
Today we leave Arizona and return to the East Coast. I had a wonderful time visiting with friends and family, seeing sights and enjoying local cuisine. We took a few day trips over the past week and one of the most memorable for me was Tubac, a small town close to the Mexican border.

Tubac was first established in 1752 and now features a historic state park, residences, and numerous local shops, restaurants and art galleries. One of the first shops we visited was Tubac Olive Oil. I was immediately in heaven when I realized every oil and vinegar in the shop could be sampled. My kind of place!

To lose weight by eating healthy! Olive oil, balsamic vinegar a good start, lol. Happy New Year to you!
My new years resolution is very secret but if you promise not to tell. It is 30 minutes every day after feeding out and blog time, writing my book. Any more than that is a bonus, but 30 minutes a day. Late morning.. There now.. sshhh.. c
Jen, I already follow your blog and like you on Facebook. A friend shared a blog about a one-word (active verb) resolution. For 2012, I chose STRETCH.
Don’t like resolutions, but have vowed to eat healthier meals and not to skip so many.

Happy New Year, You were here when the weather was very beautiful! So glad you enjoyed your stay in AZ.
Oh boy, New Year Resolutions…. Always a tough one for me. Mine is to use my Total Gym at least four times a week and back off of the fat & sugar I so easily ate this holiday.
Wish me luck!!!!
I love your little finds. I love little shops like this. There’s a tiny place just outside of Strawberry that has probably 20 differ flavors of honey that’s harvested there. Such fun!
What are your resolutions?
My new years resolutions are to….
Try at least one new recipe each week
Read more books
Start a vermacompost
Say “yes” when a new adventure or opportunity comes my way
What a great gift giveaway! I have a lot of goals (resolutions) for New Years this year. My overall goal is to be more organized and have small goals each month. I am currently working on my blog post about all of my goals for 2012. I also entered on Twitter!
I am a subscriber to your beautiful blog….
My resolution for 2012 is to continue cooking healthy, explore new foods, and blog more often.
One of my resolutions is to think of 3 things I’m grateful for every day so I don’t take things for granted :)
I don’t do “resolutions”, but I do set goals. I need to walk at least 30 minutes each day and start running using the First Strides program. Goal: to run my first 5K by my birthday.
I subscribe to your blog.
My main resolution is to get in better shape this year! My goal is to find a form of exercise that I enjoy, so it doesn’t seem like a chore! :)

Congratulations on getting married last year.
What an interesting place you found in Tubac. Do they do mail order?
I really like the idea of infusing balsamic, I’ll have to play with that concept.
Do you know if they actually infuse their own product?
Enjoyed reading your blog, as usual!
Best New Year to you!
P.
I believe so, check their website for details
My new year’s resolution is to drink more wine (not in a creepy way, just in a treat-yourself-more-often way). I made the same resolution last year and broke it. This year I will not fail, despite the fact that Sweden has a very annoying state-controlled liquor store system that makes it a pain to pick up any wine.
Glad you enjoyed your trip. Happy New Year!
I’ve already liked you on FB!
And I’m already a subscriber to your blog. :)
happy new year to you :)
I “liked” you, and my Resolution is to control my anger and open my baking business, finally.
I know it might be a bit selfish but I am going to see if I can do things that help me. Last year I put others before myself and put myself last on the list of people to tend to. I had some issues as a rsult and others have been telling me that if I am going to help anyone that I have to help myself first so I am going to try and put myself first in relaxation etc
My resolution, actually, I just decided – quit smoking. It really is my only real vice, most of my life is pretty cleaned up, gotta get rid of the cigarettes!! Would LOVE to win this give away! I have a FB buddy that lives not far from Tubac. Have a great New Year and thanks for the opportunity.
My New Year’s resolution is to have no resolutions!
To increase my business sales.
I love scented olive oils and balsamic vinegars — it’s getting really trendy on the west coast! My favourite way to enjoy a chocolate balsamic vinegar I have is to make a reduction and then drizzle it over strawberries and crumbed goat cheese. :D
Also, my New Years resolution is to stop shuffling my feet at work. I don’t normally shuffle, but I think my weekend retail job just makes me depressed or something.
Happy New Year!
My resolution for 2012 is to look at things in a new way. (I know what that means)
My New Year’s Resolution is to eat healthier.

Greetings! What a great idea to share the gifts and treasures you have found! Here is one of my New Year’s resolutions, but one thing first: if ever I happen to win the gift set, I would like you to please grab it, go to one of your neighbors you have not met yet, knock on the door, explain who you are and offer them the oils as a “welcome to our community” gift! Now for my resolution: To be a peaceful observer rather than a judgmental crusader.
I love buying olive oil from new places. I made my husband drive to Les Beau de Provence (which was quite a ways out of our way) on our honeymoon just to buy olive oil that I’d heard about. My New Year’s resolution is to progress rom being a passive observer (or lurker?) to an active commenter online. How’s this for keeping my resolution?

I love your photos! My resolutions are to simplify my life – in every way possible, read more and spend as much time with my family as possible!
I don’t make New Year’s resolutions because I don’t have to (I’m over twenty-one!) but I look forward to taking “The Kale Chronicles” through an entire year: at twice a week, that means one hundred and four new paintings and pounds and pounds of seasonal produce — will that do? — Sharyn
